“ Brand: Ipswich Town „
Both my Husband and my Dad are Ipswich Town fans, although I have been to a few games with them personally I am not really into football and do not support a team, however for Christmas I thought it would be cute to buy Jayden a few Ipswich Town things, one of which was the Ipswich Town Boys Hoody Jacket, I liked the fact that this was designed like all of the adult Ipswich Town merchandise but at the same time was perfectly designed for young babies.
The Ipswich Town Boys Hoody didn't come in any fancy packaging, it simply came folded up neatly inside a clear plastic bag to help protect it and keep it clean. There was a small label attached to the hoody which had the Ipswich logo on one side and them the name of the product on the back and the size of the hoody. This label could simply be removed by cutting it with a pair of scissors, this was the only packaging that this item came with.
The jacket is mainly blue, the same blue as Ipswich Town wears, the whole of the jacket is the same blue colour apart from the cuffs which are blue and white striped, the inside of the hood is also blue and white striped to match.
The jacket is quite plain in design apart from the Ipswich Town logo which appears in top left hand side, this is like a transfer logo and has a plasticy feel to it rather than a logo which is embroidered onto the fabric.
The Ipswich Town Boys Hoody Jacket fastens up with about 5 small round poppers, these are silver on the inside but blue on the outside so that they blend in with the colour of the fabric and do not stand out too much, these poppers make fastening and unfastening the jacket extremely quick and easy which I personally find ideal as Jayden hates have a coat or jacket put on him and if there is a lot of fiddling around involved it will often result in a paddy.
When it comes to Jayden's clothes I like something that is easy to care for and does not have complicated washing instructions, with this item I find that I can just put it in the washing machine on a regular 30 to 40 degree wash with other items of a similar colour. This jacket cannot be put in the tumble dryer, I am assuming because of the logo on it, however this is not too much of a problem as I find that the jacket does dry quickly anyway.
Since Jayden has had his Ipswich Town Hoody Jacket it has had a lot of wear as well as being washed on numerous occasions, despite all of this it still looks as good as new, it has kept its shape as well as its colour which is still as bright as when we first bought it, the fabric has not bobbled either, I would definitely say that this item has worn very well.
The hoodie jacket comes in a range of sizes including
* 0 - 3 Months
* 3 - 6 Months
* 6 - 12 Months
We bought Jayden's in size 6 - 12 months and this is plenty big enough for him, it is a little bit on the big side but it gives him a bit extra room for growth, if we had bought the smaller size I do not think it would have lasted him that long
We purchased Jayden's Ipswich Town Boys Hoody Jacket from the Ipswich Town official website, it cost £12.99 which personally I thought was very reasonable, I really thought it was going to be a lot more expensive that it was. The jacket is of excellent quality, well made and in my opinion well worth the money.
Since we bought Jayden his Ipswich Town Hoody he has had a lot of wear out of it, it is easy to get on and off of him with minimal fuss and the soft fabric makes it comfortable for him to wear.
It is not overly thick, however this makes it perfect for wearing over another top, I would say that it is not thick enough for him to wear alone as a jacket now, he definitely needs a coat over the top, however as the weather gets warmer it will be ideal to wear alone as a jacket.
The jacket is of an excellent quality and so far is proving to be hardwearing which is a must have when it comes to baby clothes. It is very versatile and goes with most of his outfits, I would say this is more of a casual item of clothing and it is ideal for everyday wear.
I have been extremely pleased with Jayden's Ipswich Town Hoody and he seems to like it too, I would definitely recommend this to any Ipswich Town fan with a baby.
