I first saw the Littlelife ladybird Toddler bag when my daughter and I were walking along Boscombe high street. A little girl was walking along with her Mum wearing it and I fell in love with it and wanted one for my daughter. I found out it was from Argos and cost £14.99. And there was were I ended up that afternoon.

My daughter always carries stuff with her, usually soft toys which end up in my bag! So this was perfect for her when she was younger.

The backpack is a brilliant red and looks just like a ladybird. It has an equal amount of black spots on it, a little carry handle, straps for your child to carry it on their back which are adjustable and also a zip which is camoflagued in a black trim. At the very top of the bag there is another zip compartment which contains a little ladybird style hood for your child should it rain. I thought this was a great idea for those times when you are unprepared. And the hood fitted my daughter pretty well too.

Once the back pack was on my daughter I was very pleased with the way it fitted her. It fits with straps on the shoulders and then there is a little strap across the front of your child's chest which does up with a little clip.

The one thing I really liked about this bag was not just that it gave my daughter a little bit of independence and responsibility for her things but you could also use a set of baby reins which was attached to the backpack. So while your child wonders a little but in front of you, thinking they are being a big girl you actually still have hold of them with the baby reins which are very securely attached.

The bag is not huge but it is definately big enough for a child to fit a few bits and pieces like a soft toy and a couple of other things. My daughter used to squeeze in as much as humanly possible! She used to put soft toys in there, her purse, some figures. Sometimes I think she would forget that she was only going to the shops!

There are other designs available but I have only seen one which was a bumble bee. I definately prefer the ladybird and my daughter did too.

A nice little back pack which I think most children will love. My daughter still has hers though it looks a little small against her now but she puts little bits and pieces in it and carries it in her hand round to Nanna's house.

Highly recommended.
