      A super spotty buy

*** Easy fleecy *** As the cold winter months kicked in I really wanted to get something warm and cosy for my two-year old daughter, but I wanted to avoid something that I had to do up with buttons or a zip. I also didn't want to spend too much money! So this spotty fleece that I found in Marks and Spencer seemed the perfect solution. The sizes available are from 2-7 years, and it is priced at a very reasonable £5. *** Cosy choice *** The fleece is a pale pink colour with darker pink spots all over, and it's incredibly soft to the touch. It is also available in pale green with dark green spots - ideal if your little girl isn't a girlie-girl, or you're fed up of too much pink clothing! The fleece has a high-ish neckline, and what I like about this is that it isn't tight, so it is still easy for me to put this on MissD without her getting stuck! It has a small pink button on the neckline, but I find that I don't need to undo this to get it on or off. There are also two matching buttons at the waist but these are just for show. And finally there are two small pockets at the front. *** Funky fleece *** I adore this fleece and MissD has got a lot of wear out of it this cold winter, and whenever she wears it people always comment on how lovely it is. But for me the real test was if it washed well - I do find that fleecy materials can tend to lose a lot of their softness after a few washes. But this fleece has now been washed three or four times and it is honestly as good as new - still silky soft and not a bobble in sight. My little girl also enjoys wearing it - I imagine it is soft, warm and comfortable to wear. It's perfect to put over t-shirts or long-sleeved tops for a lovely extra layer of warmth. *** Bargain buy *** For just £5 I really think this is a fantastic buy - you would pay a lot more for similar quality items in other stores. M&S is also selling an identical looking fleece - but with hearts instead of spots - at the same price (although it is £6 for 4 years and over). All in all this was a fantastic buy and I would happily buy this in a larger size next winter!
