~*~*~ Mickey Mouse Pyjamas ~*~*~
~ What are they? ~
Over the years I have bought many a pair of Mickey Mouse pyjamas and there are many styles available, from shorts and t-shirt style, wincyette, trousers and long sleeved etc. The last pair I bought were the same as the ones pictured and these are a wincyette style/brushed cotton (no stretch).
~ Why I bought them ~
I bought these in 12 - 18 months for my littlest one as he is crazy about Mickey Mouse. I saw them in my local B&M's priced at a very decent £5.99 and they were so cute I just couldn't resist!
They also looked like they would keep him warm and cosy in the night too.
~ My thoughts ~
These pyjamas just really looked adorable and that was my initial reason for buying them, the top is like a shirt and buttons up at the front and the trousers have an elasticated waist. The main colour is a nice bright blue and they are covered in Mickey Mouse heads, little stars and ' Mikey Mouse '. They are nice and soft to the touch after being washed but before I washed them they felt a little cardboardy!
These look adorable on my little one, I just think they make him look so grown up and cute! My son really loves them and claps to put them on, he points and says yes, my! Aww!
These have been washed a lot, and also put in the dryer and they have come out fine although they are not as bright as they once were.
The legs and sleeves are a little bit too long but folding them up has solved the problem.
My only problem with putting my son in seperate pyjamas for bed will mean that he will be naked in the morning! So I tend to keep these for in the morning if we are having a lazy day or even early evening, but I try and get him in a sleepsuit for bed. He just loves to strip off!
I have been really impressed with these for the price I paid and because there is no transfer on them I don't have to worry about how I dry them.
My 5 year old has a pair of Mickey Mouse pyjamas too and these consist of a blue pair of bottoms and a red and blue top, these are in a stretchy t-shirt like material. I also bought these in B&M's for £4.99, these are really nice too but I have found that the Mickey Mouse transfer on the front has faded quite a lot due to the tumble dryer I think. However my son did really love these and he has gotten a lot of use out them since last Christmas.
I think a lot of children love Mickey Mouse so I find it brilliant that these character pyjamas can be picked up cheap enough from so many different places. There's lots of different designs available too so you should find something to suit.

Disney clothing is popular with children and adults alike. Your childs favourite characters can often be found on pyjamas of various designs.
~Mickey Mouse Wincey Pyjamas~
These pyjamas are available in a 2 part set which includes long trousers and a button up top which features long sleeves. The pyjamas are made in China and are made of 100% cotton.
This particular set of pyjamas are a baby blue colour and feature lots of Mickey Mouse pictures, logos and writting. They can be washed on a 40c wash but cannot be tumble dried. They should be ironed on the reverse.
These Mickey Mouse pyjamas can be purchased in sizes ranging from 12months - 4 years.
Online, I can only locate the 18-24months size in stock though it is worth shopping around. Amazon UK, eBay and www.character.com stocks these pyjamas priced at £6.49 - £6.95.
My sons pyjama drawer is overflowing with various character pyjamas. At Christmas, he received a few new pairs and second to his Thomas onesie (sleepsuit), these Mickey Mouse pyjamas are well loved. My Mum bought these from a local shop and they are official Disney merchandise. I'm sure I've spotted them in B&Ms in the bigger sizes so it may be worth checking out.
We have size 3-4yrs (104cm height) as my son is nearly 4. These fit him perfectly though if your child is a bigger child, these may strain a little across the chest! I would say these pyjamas are definitely aimed at boys. The design appeals to my son as he likes Mickey Mouse but personally, I find the pyjamas to be a bit 'cluttered' in appearance. Mickey Mouse does look realistic and children will immediately recognise their mouse friend!
In general, Mummy prefers pyjamas with t-shirt tops as they are easier to put on an off but these button up pyjamas always look cute. My son looks like a wee old man with them on! The trousers are quite long and can accommodate my son perfectly as he is quite tall. If your child is quite short, the bottom of the pyjamas are likely to trail. The waistband on the trousers is quite stretchy and has quite a bit of give to accommodate tubby tummies and baby bums!
The top is easy for my son to slip on but the 4 buttons are a nightmare to fasten as they are so fiddly! Because the button holes aren't very big, they blend in with the design of the pyjamas and are difficult to locate. The buttons fasten up to a few cm before the neck and there is a collar which can be folded down neatly. The top is quite long and covers past my sons tummy. He is able to move around fairly well - the pyjamas aren't tight but because of the material, they aren't as flexible and roomy as regular pyjamas.
Once Boo has his pyjamas on, they look neat and tidy. The material is incredibly soft to the touch and is quite thick so is extremely cosy for Boo to wear around the house with his slippers on or in bed inside his sleeping bag. The quality of these pyjamas isn't amazing. I have noticed some stitching coming loose and the cuffs look a bit untidy now.
These pyjamas have been worn and washed about 15 times in the past 2 months. The colour has remained vibrant and there has only been some slight bobbling. One thing I will say is to ensure to flatten out the pyjamas when you remove them from the machine. If crumpled when hung up to dry, they dry that way and look mishaped and 'stiff'. One time I forgot and the pyjamas looked silly on as the top kept curling up and looked badly creased! I have noticed the pyjamas have shrunk a little as well.
If you can find these in a size to fit your child and they cost under a fiver, buy them but personally, they may look cute but I think there are better designed pyjamas on the market for toddlers so wouldn't personally buy these for my son - he would say otherwise!
3 stars - mixed opinion.
