I always like to buy my little girl slippers and pyjama's for Christmas, its like a ritual that they are just two things that I always received so it was natural to do the same for my daughter. My plan to buy them for Christmas was foiled when she suddenly had a growing spurt and grew out of her current slippers! I always wear slipper boots rather than slippers and my little girl is forever pinching them and wearing them herself so I decided to have a look for a nice pair of childrens slipper boots. Searching on the internet I was getting a bit despondent as I just couldn't find any, but Ebay being my last resort came up with the perfect pair!
The pair of slipper boots I chose was a Minnie Mouse pair which as I say were just perfect as my little girl just adores everything Minnie Mouse. Two days later they arrived and cue one very happy little girl looking very proud in her new slipper boots.
The Minnie Mouse slipper boots are just too cute! They are made out of velour and are a deep red in colour with pale pink hearts all over the boot. On the front of the boot is a large pvc picture of Minnie Mouse bursting out of a stripey heart, and on one side of each boot is a large red bow which indicates which foot the boot should be on if the child needs a little help. The inside of the slipper boots is fleecy which gives the ultimate comfort and warmth. The base of the slipper boots is a tough rubber and you will see the size of the boot in the centre of the sole. On the back of the slipper boot it says Minnie Mouse in black writing so it stands out well against the red.
Minnie Mouse slipper boots come in a good range of sizes, which starts at size 6 and goes all the way up to 12 so it covers a good age range. I bought a larger size than required for my daughter so that hopefully they will last longer than the last pair we had, though of course I had to be careful they weren't far too big to prevent risk of her tripping over.
The price of the Minnie Mouse slipper boots varies, I have only ever seen them on Ebay personally and it does seem to vary from seller to seller. I paid £7.99 for my daughters but others are priced up to £11.00. I would have paid the higher price for them as I think they are definately worth it.
Our opinion on these slipper boots? Well we both love them. I struggle to get my little girl to take them off as she even wants to wear them outside and to nursery! With the soles being rubber she can wear them outside and she will often keep them on to go to her grandma's which is just up the road and so far there has been no sign of wear at all. One thing with the slipper boots is that she really doesn't like wearing socks with them as she says it makes her feet too hot so it shows how warm they are with the fleecy inner. I think the slipper boots are so cute and look really good on my little girl and I would recommend them to any little Minnie Mouse fan! I also like how there is a bow on the outside of each boot as it is a real aid for a child who isn't quite sure which foot the boots should go on - my daughter does know but it is just extra confirmation for her. The only downside is that our mad cat tries to catch the bows and play with them!!
Can't recommend them enough! Thank you for reading my review.
