Ella's Kitchen Butternut Squash Carrot Apple & Prunes 120g:
... an attempt to be a fantastic mother, I ve been making my own weird and wonderful fresh purees. A great idea for the most part but there are guaranteed to be sometimes when you need something quickly and don t have the time or equipment to heat up your own stuff. I have tried a few of the jars and tubs that are on the market at the moment - making sure that there aren t any unnatural ingredients in there. Howe... Heinz Farley's Pure Baby Rice ... baby rice is a mixture of Pure Baby Rice with vitamins and minerals. The rice is in a powdered format in a non-resealable foil bag inside cardboard packaging. I used this product when starting to wean my son and initially mixed it with expressed breast milk or fomula. The instructions gave a rough guideline as to the proportions to use initially, although this made the rice barely thicker than his usual milk and very difficult to spoon. As we progressed with his weaning, I made the rice thicker. I found it difficult to mix as the fine powder is prone to clumping and formed lumps, which I had to fish out before giving it to my son. You also have to use it very soo... Read the full review: Heinz Pure Baby Rice by llanternerouge |

Hipp Organic Cottage Pie ... been an advocate for baby led weaning, I was disapointed when my baby completely rejected food a few months in, due to an awful bout of the dreaded teething. She had always self fed and had been very good at it, but was loosing weight and I was getting worried, so in desperation I bought a jar of this baby food for her to try. Spoon feeding was a big success from the start, perhaps because it was cold and easy to swallow with sore gums. My daughter adores this product and wolfs it down, even now. It is recommended from 7 months as a stage two food, meaning it is not a puree and has lumps and chopped up vegetables in it. This was not a problem for my daughter as ... Organix Goodies Organic Carrot Stix ... my daughter began the sometimes slippery slope to solid foods, I was keen to provide her with snacks which were not saturated in sugar and salt. Having already tried some Organix products with her, I was familiar with their No Junk Promise so decided to give these crunchy sticks a go. These particular snacks are aimed at the older child from around 12 months, with a much chunkier, fatter version also on the market for babies. But as I can never find the other version on the shelves at my local supermarket, I have used these since my daughter was 7 months old with no problems. They come shaped like chipsticks in a multipack, containing four 15g bags, priced at aroun... Read the full review: Crunchy baby snacks by sassypat456 |
