I understand that it is regarded as a digestive, but it does seem an odd choice of ingredient. I'm much more careful now when I shop, I take a few minutes to check the label of new varieties I see to make sure the ingredients are simple and familiar. Robert loves his vegetables, and it's so convenient to buy a couple of jars of baby food to carry around when we go visiting. I trust the ASDA brand name, and have had success with most varieties, however with one variety recently (parsnip?) he was spitting it out faster than I could shovel it in!
