Advantages: None

Disadvantages: Burps and bad breath

Whilst in Boots picking up the usual jars , milk , nappies etc . I noticed the Boots international range .

Mmm I thought , I'll get some , although my girlfriend hadn't written it on the list .

I noticed the the range is about 20p dearer than the baby boots organics that we normally buy . But hey whats 20p here or there , so I bought the potato and leek soup packet .

It cost about 99p , for approx 150ml . It is in a neat little sachet that could be easily poped into the changing bag when you are on the move .

Well guess what my daughter had for tea that night , the soup ( suitable from 4 months , although our daughter is older than that that ).

My girlfriend walk through the door and said " what is that awful stink ".

The soup should be renamed garlic soup , it stank and the flavour of garlic was so strong out tot refused to eat more than 2 mouthfulls . For soup it was exceedingly stoggy too , it was just like a jar basically and about twice the price . It also gave our tot really bad garlic breath and burps all evening !!!

Needless to say we haven't tried any more in the range . They do jars , from 4 , 7 and 12 months . If you've tried them let me know of they are any better .

We're sticking to Hipp and Boot's Organics for the moment .

Hi
my toddler loves the jars - especially the Mexican chicken and Chicken korma but refused point blank to eat the Fish and potato fricasee - the lumps of potato were rock hard so I could see why!
i must add though that Callum is like his parents though (!) and will eat virtually anything and everything!

My 1 year old loves the international jars, they seem to please her tastebuds.
Though some of the varieties seem obscure for delicate tummies, chicken korma, salmon and potato ficasee etc, they are really good value for money, give the jars a try.
