      made my son choke.

As my son is 7, nearly 8, months old we decided to buy him these 7+ months jars.

However, they didn't go down too well with my son. The texture of the food is lumpy, chunky and with actual "bits" in it; beans, mostly. It was these bits that seemed to choke him. He's had lumpy and chunky foods before and we've tried baby led weaning with him I didn't expect these jars to be an issue for him at all.

As it says on the jar, it's stage 2 food "mostly mashed" and looking at it on the plate and out of the jar I could see this for myself.

I like to taste my son's food to see if it's any good and this one tastes like a mixture of beans and peppers (after all it's a baby bean feast!). It also includes ingredients like mushrooms, tomato, onions and even concentrated pineapple juice!

I might give this a go a few more weeks down the line, but right now after we've tried and tested it a few times I don't like to use it as it makes my son choke.
