Tastes like food! (Cow & Gate Baby Balance Baby Bean Feast)

Advantages: yummy and varied receipes! Disadvantages: very lumpy and not organic! The Cow & Gate baby foods actually (for baby food that is) taste pretty good!! Especially this one the baby bean feast! Its main ingredients are beans, peppers and rice along with tomato (of course!) You can actually see the bits of bean and pepper in it and it has a real food taste to it which is pretty good going for a baby jar! These 6month plus jars are very lumpy though so if your baby isnt used to lumps they may very well turn their nose up at these as they are not for the faint hearted however any big eater or baby used to lumps should handle them fine. The taste is quite strong as well so a baby only used to bland tastes may not be that keen. The ingredients are not organic but generally of a seemingly high quality using cooking water as opposed to just water and offer a higher percentage of vegetables and protein which you get from the beans. Price wise these jars are pretty comparable to Hipp and certainly offer a better more homemade like taste. Summary: Try these out on your little one, they are suprisingly good! |
