Give Cow & Gate a chance! (Cow & Gate Baby Balance Mexican Bean)

Advantages: better ingredients and tastes nice Disadvantages: not organic I'm a real fan of the cow & gate baby foods as although they are not organic the food content is very good for a baby jar. The meat content surpasses Hipp which is only 8% as it normally is around the 10-11% percent range. They also use cooking water in the baby meals as opposed to just water so at least you are gtting some of the nuterients in the water. Best of all though the foods actually taste- dare I say it quite good! far better than a lot of the Hipp equivalent! This one in aprticualr that I decided to review I think is quite yummy! Yes i try everything my children eat- if it has to go in their mouths i should be prepared to try it too! The only thing I would say about this range is it is quite chunky so perhaps not best to start off on this- the heinz range is quite good in that respect as the next stage is quite smooth with only a few lumps. This is perhaps for the baby who is already comfortable with lumps. Price wise it is comparable with Hipp. Summary: Better than hipp! |
