When we first began weaning our baby we were recommended to begin with baby rice. As I understand, rice is a good choice for early weaning as, although terribly bland, it will introduce your baby to solid foods whilst not having an overpowering taste. After all until your baby embarks on the weaning process, they have until that point only experienced the taste of milk.

It is recommended to mix baby rice with a little of your baby's usual milk. Once your baby is a little further into the weaning process however you can experiment a little further. In particular one of my son's favourite meals during early weaning was boiled and mashed potato mixed with baby rice.

Overall I would recommend this product. It is a perfect choice for introducing solids. It is a trusted brand and is reasonably priced.
