At around 16 weeks old my twin girls had got to th point they were waking every hour morning and night, i was just so tired and couldnt get anything done as i was feeding all the time. So i hung onto 17 weeks even though my heath visitor wasnt happy i hadnt waited until 6 months old s the government guidelines state but it would have been impossible and you cant starve a baby.

So i decided to start with baby rice as thats whats usually recommended because its really bland but helps them get used to the texture of having food in their mouth.

I only tried them with a couple of spoons at first, they flatly refused to take more that which im not suprised its extremely bland.

I bought this pack for a £1 in our local pound shop but i never used up the full box due to them not liking it and it went to the bin. I mixed it in with babies milk so that it still had a familiar taste but they still werent too keen on it.

Its a great first food but be ready for your little one to refuse it especially once they taste other foods.
