Cow & Gate Baby Balance Sunshine Banana

As is clear from my other reviews, we got on very well with baby cereals in general and were especially fond of Cow and Gate ones. This is a banana flavoured first stage weaning cereal which is gluten free and therefore suitable from 4 months and onwards. It is very runny and so it is ideal for a very young baby, although I found that just to get it thick enough to get onto a spoon properly I had to make it a bit thicker than the instructions recommended. You make it up by mixing the powdered cereal with water and stirring.
