Vegatable lasagne from Cow and Gate is my baby boy's favourite jar food since he turned 6 months. Even if he is teething or ill and doesn't feel like eating anything else we try this product and he loves it. I also stock up on it as it is easy to carry around in my bag and also if I leave my son at home with his father it is easier to tell him to just feed him this jar as he can be a fussy eater and sometimes I have to play games to get him to feed but with this product he just tends to sit and feed with no fuss. Hence I came to the conclusion it must be his favourite.

It comes in a jar of 200g and costs around 69-89p roughly, supermarkets and stores like Boots tend to offer promotions and when I see it on offer I do stock up, as it does have a long best before date and I know it will be used. I do mostly feed him home made food but occasionally needing jars if I'm out and about or if I haven't cooked anything for him.

It is nice to know that it doesn't contain any artificial flavourings, colours, or preservatives. Also it doesn't contain any added salt and is suitable for vegatarians. For a mother is is just wonderful to see your child enjoying a particular food and in the beginning it's trial and error and then gradually you can discover which foods your baby enjoys more then others. Of course I try to give a balanced diet to him and even if he isn't into broccoli i will try to feed him with a game but with this product I can just give him without the games and rejection.
