      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      part of a healthy diet

My daughter is the biggest fan of the fruit pots made by cow and gate. I think I have bought every flavour for her now to try. Some she is more taken to than others. This one is pear and pineapple, she is not a big fan of this one but still enjoys eating half the pot.

A friend of mine bought these my daughter as a thank you for looking after her children. My daughter was suffering from constipation at the time and it was very frustrating. I hadn't realised at first that I had these so when I came across them I thought I would give them a try. I found that these helped her a lot and that she loved eating them which was brilliant.

These are part of the cow and gate baby balance range which I find very good for babies. They are made to ensure that your child is getting a balanced diet. They are for children from 4 to 36 months which I find very good. They have no artificial flavourings, colourings, preservatives or sweeteners, they have no added egg milk or soya which is good for children with a lactose allergy. They are gluten free and suitable for vegetarians which I think is good too.

These ones are made from pear and pineapple which is pureed and contain vitamin c which I like because it means my daughter is getting vitamins that she needs to develop. They contain 1 pear, a teaspoon of concentrated pineapple juice and vitamin c. These are simple and healthy ingredients that nothing is added too so my daughter is getting the best diet.

These come in a pack of 4 100g pots. At my daughters age of 7 months she has half a pot after dinner and half a pot after tea which is suitable and it states that a 1 year old should only have one pot a day for a healthy diet. You can find out more about health and growth of your child from their web site www.cowandgate.co.uk or by calling them on 0845 623 623, I think this is good because there is always something that you may need to know to ensure your child is getting what they need or what the pots contain.

You store these in a cool dry place and once opened they are able to be kept in a refrigerator for up to 48 hours which is good. If you do not use the whole pot and you are feeding from it you must throw the remainder of the pot away.

These are on a deal at asda which is 3 packs for £4 this will last us for over a week, I find this a good deal for these. I think this flavour is very nice and sweet and my daughter enjoys eating them. They do quite a range of flavours that she favours some more than others. These are worth trying for any child so they are having a balanced healthy diet and I would advise these to all parents.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

tasty littlepots of fruit that are good for you

These are very healthy little pots of fruit puree, made from 100% fruit, one of your 5 a day, no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

They are a lovely pudding, snack or lunchbox filler for children or lunch for a baby. I've been buying these for 4 years now for both my boys. They both love them. For babies they are convenient to take out and about as they do not need to be kept cool, and it's just enough lunch while they are little.

They are ideal for children who are fussy about eating fruits. I think they are tasty and so do both my boys. They like to eat and mix them in with ice cream, custard or fromage frais, or dip wafer, or chocolate fingers into them.

Schools & playgroups like you to send in healthy lunch box items, this is a good alternative to a yogurt for a change.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

Handy to keep in for busy mums

        Yum Yum!!!

I got these last week at Asda, for the first time, they were on promotion at 2 packs (of 4) for £3.00.

Although I cook a lot at home for my son i run out of ideas for his fruit, he will have chunks of fruit but with only one tiny tincy tooth he don't get very far!! I tend to puree apples and pears and plums, sometimes mix them together, but that tends to be it. I do get these in when they are on offer as an easy way of getting his fruit in him.

I was a little sceptical about the pineapple because of the acidity but it went down well this evening as his pudding. The products smells delicious, as fruit always does in my opinion. The puree is totally smooth and so suitable for all baby ages/weaning stages.

Thoroughly enjoyed... he devoured every last mouthful

They are also really handy to keep about your person, I can often distract him from being a bit agitated about something by producing one of these or something similar - food tends to have that effect with him
