      Highly recommended!

One more baby fruit puree from my son's favourites: Cow & Gate Apple & Banana puree which comes in 4 plastic pots each containing 100 g of fruit puree which equals 1 fruit portion. There are two pots together and another two on the top of them. They are wrapped in a cardboard cover.

I bought ours in Sainsbury's for 1.69 pounds. It is available in most of the supermarkets. I found that this one is a little bit sweeter than those ones in jar. Usually I give my son directly from this pot or I mix it with baby rice. It has a dominating apple taste but I could feel the banana as well. I think apples and banana are a very pleasant combination. For some reason this is my sons favourite fruit mix. I prefer pears to apples but none of my sons like pears.

A pot of fruit puree contains a small apple, one quarter of banana, a teaspoon of concentrated apple juice and vitamin C. A pot of apple and banana puree contains 56 kcal energy. It doesn't contain any artificial flavourings, colourings, preservatives and sweeteners. It is gluten free. It doesn't contain added egg, milk or soya. It is suitable for vegetarians. This fruit puree can be given to babies from the age of 4 months.

I like this kind of baby fruit because both my sons love it simply from the pot or mixed with baby rice or biscuits. It has practical wrapping which can be recycled. My sons usually eat all the fruit puree from the pot but if your baby cannot eat all the fruit puree should be kept in the refrigerator and consumed within 48 hours. I store the unopened ones simply in the kitchen.

I think this is another masterpiece from Cow & Gate baby fruit puree category. Highly recommended!
