My daughter has always been a good sleeper and started sleeping through the night at a very early age. However, as the mornings started getting lighter she was waking up early and not going back to sleep. I was looking for something that would help her sleep longer when I got some post from Cow & Gate with some money off vouchers for Good ...  Read the complete review

My wife and I had a really hungry baby from quite an early age and found that we needed to supplement a bottle feed in the night with Cow gate Good night milk. We found this product very helpful and indeed helped our young son through the night. Without using this product our son was walking up multiple times which was very distressing for all ...  Read the complete review

Like all mums, I was desperate for my baby to sleep for as well and as long as possible. For a while I was giving my baby a bottle of milk with a spoonful of baby rice to keep him full during the night. However when he reached 6 months old I decided to try the Cow and Gate Good Night Milk, thinking that this would be a better option. The milk ...  Read the complete review

I spotted this baby milk (for babies from 6 months upwards) in my local Asda one day and thought I'd give it a try as my 7 month old daughter had been waking up in the night alot (after sleeping right through from 2 months old). The box is quite small (400g) and I did think the price at £4.96 seemed quite but I thought that it was a ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Cow & Gate Good Night Milk
by Very Tired Mummy - written on 17/07/09
Rating:

I tried the good night milk on my 6.5 month old (he is on solids and has been for a little while now), it made no difference towards him sleeping through the night, he used to sleep from 10pm to 4am and then wake for a feed and he still does exactly the same, in fact he stirs around 2am now aswell so clearly it doesnt help him to sleep through the night . Ironically he drank more of the good night milk then his usual and he still didnt sleep through so more sleepless nights for me !

My son was an awkward feeder though he would go 4 hours between his feeds, at a night time he wouldn't want to settle at all. I took a trip to boots to see what options they had for helping your child sleep at night. I spotted this milk and decided to give it a try. It is a thicker milk which you can tell when It is mixed. ...  Read the complete review

Well. I first starting using this milk about 6 weeks ago when my son hit 6 months. He has been sleeping really well anyway but an extra half hour sleep would have been spot on for me. It is a slighter darker creamy yellowish colour that the other Cow and Gate Milks - C&G 1, 2, 3 - that we have tried already and seems to have a ...  Read the complete review

i bought this mainly out of curiosity. but it works. my two children were waking during then night, only once, because they wanted more milk. both my children are fussy eaters and still rely on milk as a foodstuff so it seemed like the ideal for me. it does just seem like baby milk with rice in but i assume the formula is probably more complex ...  Read the complete review

Well, I guess I should have really had my suspicions when my friend who has a similar aged baby to my little girl (7 months), gave it to me free and looked particularly haggard that day. 'What a wonderful gesture' I thought to myself, as I know that this little 400g tub costs £4.98at Tesco and not something we would buy ourselves, as the prices ...  Read the complete review
