I would not recommend Cow and Gate dried baby food or jars. Eith variety seems to have very little substance and breaks down at the slightest amount of saliva on the spoon. By the time the food is half eaten it's inedible. It appears that this may be due to it being full of added starches and very little real food. On the occasions I have used packets or jars, Cow and Gate has not satisfied my babies hunger or his taste buds. I do not think the packets even approach the value for money I thought they would be in being able to make up small quantities, as after making on helping I have ended up throwing out the rest. I will not be buying any more Cow and Gate products.
