Advantages: fed baby

Disadvantages: not as good as mummy milk

When my daughter was born i had problems feeding her myself and had to change her to baby milk as she wasn't getting enough milk and lost quite a bit of weight. I was not in a very good way and so i sent my husband to the shop to get her the milk. I didn't tell him which brand to get just to get the ready made up stuff as it would be easier. He came back with Cow and Gate and she has been on it ever since. the only problems that we have had is that she doesn't have a bowel movement every day but if she drinks water in between feeds then she is fine so i just need to keep an eye on the amout of water that she has. I can't compare it as we have not used anything else but it has worked and done what it needed to.
