Advantages: availiable in 2 forms, various flavours

Disadvantages: can work out expensive

Cow & Gate products in particular have always been a favourite with my daughter (now 1) I purchased the concentrated baby juice firstly the apple and pear juice, which I can only presume is very stong even when diluted according to the instructions 6 parts water to 1 part concentrate - as my daughter never took to this particular flavour. I then tried the apple and blackcurrent which was a real hit with her.

Cow & Gate baby juice is available in various flavours, as well as the above summer fruits and now maybe others. Its available in 2 forms, concentrated or ready diluted, both of which are good, but it works out more economical to dilute it yourself.

The Cow & Gate baby juices also have added vitamin C, and state that they have no aritificial flavours, colours, no added preservatives, and that they have low acidity.

It is also recommended that once opened the baby juice is kept in the fridge and used within 7 days. Also the juice can be made up using hot water or cold water (cooled boiled water for infants)

I would recommend giving this product a try if you child does not take to drinking just plain water, even if like I did, you end up after a while reducing the amount of concentrate, so that he or she will drink just plain water.

My son never took to this. He has always drank herbal teas! I find these very good as they don't have any sugar and some even have health benefits (Nettle tea really helps his eczema and Camomile helps him relax and sleep well!) I will try my daughter with this soon though
