... even though it was slightly more pricey but even with the adiquate amount of cooled boiled water in his daily diet my son quickly became painfully constipated and started suffering from colic which in the end was so severe it had to be treated with a mild natural laxative! SO we decided to try changing the formula, the only other brand our local pharmacy had at the time was Cow & Gate stage 2 formula, which was almost £2 cheaper than the SMA.

When I found myself in a position where I had to start formula feeding my baby son I went into it with the misconception that formula is formula and all brands were pretty much the same and all that changed was the packaging and price.......how wrong I was!
