So picture the scene we have a gorgeous five month old baby girl called Carly who has decided she doesn't like any foods except Milk and Broccoli and Cauliflower. We've tried baby rice and yes we've tried Farley's rusks but all she ever did was smile knowingly as if to say "you're wasting your time here guys" and then cry as loud as she could to make sure the neighbours could here what awful parents we were.This was until we stuck a bottle of milk in her mouth which would stop the crying so instantly you'd have thought it was a tape recording(and they say babies aren't clever).
Thgen one day a friend says have you tried Danone fromage frais to which i replied "isn't that what they cook with on masterchef"(i thought it was a posh type of custard)
No replies our friend my child swears by itand always finishes the pot.
So we reluctantly tried it knowing full well Carly would just smile politelyn as always.
WRONG!!!! she opened her mouth and statrted to murmur (you know that sound you make when you eat chocolate mousse or Creme Broulet for the first time)and then kicked her legs the minute she had finished her mouthfull.
Now she will not eat anything else besides the previous mentioned foods but to see the joy on her face when we tear of the lid makes me realise babies aren't bad eaters they're just damn fussy like me and you.
