i have emailed them with regards to the price increase but you may find there site usefull for there explination to the 'better' quality if the milk as to why there price has increased, see below!

I think it should have been good enough before and the price is so unfair! if they get back to my email i wil keep you informed, you can contact them from there site also, they may consider reducing the price if we all get on there case about it!

The redesign of farleys milk is terrible, their previous slogan was commited to fair prices but the price isn't very fair any more! It has gone from being the cheapest in my local sainssbury to one of the most expensive.
Also the new design is taller than the old one making it difficult to get those last bits out.
I think 2.50 is too much of an increase in price in one go, I will be switching..

My son has always had Farleys milk and loved it. When we last went shopping i was rather upset to notice that the old style tin had been replaced via a horrible square package with a lid that is fastened to the container and the scoop has a clip inside the lid. The crowning glory on the insultive new container was the fact that in the local Asda in Cardiff the price had shot up by £2.50. Luckily there was tenof the old style tins at the old price so i bought six of them would have got all ten but another mother bought four. She was disgusted as well at the silly new container and price hike. I think i may have to change brands as this is not on at all

Farleys Soya Formula. My first son was really poorly for a long time, he was constantly projectile sick, had constant diohrea, red blotchy skin, could'nt gain weight, the diagnosis from the health profession - he was just a sicky baby, and I was not feeding him properly. When I moved to my current address I registered with the local ...  Read the complete review

My daughter is 6 months old and is breastfed twice a day but has formula twice a day. She has really taken to drinking Farley's first milk and likes it almost as much as her expressed breast milk. The best packaging for me are the tin and the individual 4oz sachets. The sachets are brilliant for taking out and about. It ...  Read the complete review

Farley's have introduced a new simplified feeding system for their milk formula and follow on milk. The system, allows you to make up several feeds at one go accurately. You get a mixing container, plunger and sachets of formula pre measured so you know you are giving the exact right amount. It is so simple, you just sterilise all the ...  Read the complete review

Farleys milk is available in boxes of 14 sachets, each sachet makes up a 4oz (113ml) feed and it's available in First Milk, Second Milk and Follow on milk. (Farley’s also do the Simplifeed system, but I am discussing the sachets!) Since I finished breastfeeding my son, I looked for a suitable follow on milk for him as he was ...  Read the complete review

I have fed farley's formular to all my children, so I was a bit dubious when the simplafeed system came out. I thought I t would be a good idea to start with. It is a great system if you make up even amounts(eg- 4x 5oz bottles) but what if your child takes 23 oz a day? Good idea initally but quite wasteful. It would be better if we ...  Read the complete review

At first I was alarmed to see that the old style tins had gone from the shelves, having only just started bottle feeding my 5 week old son who flatly refused to be breastfed. I'd set my heart on breastfeeding so was completely clueless about even making up a bottle. I'd just got used to grips with making up bottles with scoops when ...  Read the complete review

We started to use Farley's when my daughter was 10 weeks old. It is a very good formula, it contains LCP's and seemed to 'agree' with my daughter. It was also very reasonably priced, the least expensive brand on the market. I used to buy it at £5.59 for a 900g tin. Farley's have recently changed all of their packaging. ...  Read the complete review

I stumbled across this product quite by accident because tesco had them on for 2 for 1. Its a great idea and saves loads of time of mess. You use the jug (which is provided in the pack) and fill to the line to the water fill level, then you take one of the 20oz sachets ( a days supply for a baby over 6 months) and pop it in the water then ...  Read the complete review

I got a pack of the new Farleys milk yesterday, my baby has been on the milk for a couple of months and I was qiute keen to see what they had done to improve it. I have used Farleys Formula milk for both my boys - the youngest is on the Follow On Milk. There was no special reason I picked it but am glad I did. I breast fed both of them for a while and then they went straight on to the formula without any problems at all. The tin was one of the things that attracted me because it is easy to store ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Farley's milk not for us. (133 words)

I thoroughly recommend Farley's food products and regularly purchase rusks and dried foods. This is perhaps why I was dissappointed to say the least with their formula. I started off using SMA which I was happy with and still am, but got caught short, so ended up buying Farley's formula. I found it to be extremely frothy which ...  Read the complete review

Shortly after I got my new baby home I had to begin feeding formula. During and after every feed he was sick. Premium Review NEW: Simplifeed System. Follow-on milk (368 words)

I have used most brands of follow-on milk at one time or another. I am lucky, my son is not terribly fussy and will drink pretty much anything so I used to buy whatever was on offer. This NEW Farley's Simplifeed System they have introduced for their follow-on milk, however, might just make me change my mind. They have just changed ...  Read the complete review
