“ Brand: Harmonie Organic „
I first came across Harmonie products about 18 months ago in my local supermarket. This was about the time my youngest were old enough to eat Fromage frais and yoghurt. They instantly took to these two Harmonie products and have eaten them ever since. I like Harmonie products because they are, firstly organic and secondly they are endorsed by the Soil Association. I always trust the Soil association logo on a product because they seem to properly vet their organic suppliers, and therefore I trust that the products they are associated with are genuinely organic. I also like this product because my children are at an age where they want to feed themselves and the Fromage frais is thick enough for them to give me a few minutes peace while they guzzle the product down. The Yoghurt is too runny for them to be able to spoon it into their own mouths themselves.(And the mess afterwards does not warrant the amount of quiet time I have while they eat the yoghurt!!) In my local supermarket the pack of 6 yoghurts are priced at £1.09, and the fromage frais sell for £1.39. I do not see these as excessive prices for organic produce. The shops own brand of non organic fromage frais is 99p for 6.
I generally make all my daughter's own meals, but occasionally I like to try different products on the market. I often feel that we both get fed up with constant streams of fruit purees for dessert! I found Harmonie Organic Yoghurt on my local supermarket's shelf and decided to give it a go. I prefer organic products when it comes to feeding my daughter, and the write-up on this product seemed convincing. As a general pig (!) I tried the yoghurt before offering it to my daughter, who is 6 months old, and I was surprised at just how sharp the taste was! It really turned my mouth inside out! I hesitated to give it to my baby, but thought that she wouldn't notice so much as she iusn't used to sweeter alternatives. To some degree I was right, and she did enjoy the yoghurts, but the first mouthful always makes her face turn! However, she never refuses these yoghurts and I can be sure that I am giving her the best start.
Harmonie Organics baby and toddler food. A delightful range of baby and toddler food made using only the finest Organic ingredients. Available in ready to use jars and easy mix packets, currently the range is fairly limited.. The product is appealing to the eye and loved by my kids. Tickled by the name Harmonie Organics on the top of my bounty box were money off coupons, (My daughters name is Harmony), a little book and a sweet mobile. Intrigued by the name I was keen to utilise the vouchers enclosed. After a lot of looking I finally found some Harmonie Organics produce, and was disappointed to find such a limited range. My daughter did really enjoy the food, but without the money off coupons they are just too expensive to give to her all the time. A really lovely product, but just too expensive for me, however when I see special offers I do bulk buy as many as I can afford. I do like Harmonie Organics (yum!!), I like to give my children as much Organic produce as I can, I just never seem to have the time to make and store loads of it. I spend most of my time growing the dam stuff, and I like to be reassured that the ingredients that I am feeding to my child are governed by the strict Organic codes and conditions dictated by the Soil Association. I would recommend Harmonie Organics to friends, but only wealthy ones who can travel miles, and who don’t mind a limited range. I do look forward to a larger variety and more outlets.
