Advantages: a large range of different recipes

Disadvantages: none really

I find my little boy loves the heinz, i find he prefers the 'mum's own' range rather than the tins of heinz. But there is so much more selection in the 'mum's own' jars compared to the tins, the variations are more for older babies rather than 4 months.
The 'mum's own' selection include some yummy recipe such as 'chicken casserole' and 'sunday lunch' and many more, there are a few 'exotic' recipes in this range which my little boy seems to REALLY enjoy!

The tins of heinz are probably the cheapest out of the well known brands of baby food but the jars are a little dearer than the tins but are around the same price as the other brands' jars. They are roughly about 50p per jar but Asda has a multi-save on at the minute where the jars are 8 for £3.50.

Some of the recipes do stain clothes quite a bit but i find the heinz range stains much less than the other leading brands, especially Hipp.

Heinz are probably the only brand of baby food that I think are full of flavour and goodness. The others seem to leave a fatty feeling on the roof of your mouth and my son is much happier eating heinz as it doesnt seem to this.

Summary: there is 2 types of heinz baby food, tins of heinz and jars of 'mum's own' recipes which are lovely!
