I don't have a baby, but often buy the Heinz Stewed Apple, as it is a perfect accompaniment to pork, is in a portion size just large enough for two, and is delicious.

I was first told of this little "trick" by a friend of mine, who happens to be a butcher. I said I was fed up of throwing sauces away as I couldn't finish them before their use buy dates, and he suggested the baby food alternative.

Excellent taste, no waste due to the small size, convenient and a definite conversation starter when people KNOW you don't have a baby in the house!!!
