I have actually been weaning my baby on Milupa Foods which I found he really enjoyed but the range wasn't really varied enough so I decided to try him on the Heinz range for 7 months - he really enjoyed the Fisherman's Pie and the Pasta with Chicken and mushroom. I have also been trying him on ordinary tins of spaghetti, which he also likes - so when I saw the Heinz 7-month food of Spaghetti and sausages I thought it would be a real treat - I was so wrong. It was a nightmare the mixture was very thick and strong, but I decided to try him on it. He hated it and kept trying to spit the sausage cubes out, they seemed to be cut too small to chew but large enough to get stuck in his throat and he nearly choked. He got very annoyed so I stopped the feed and took him upstairs to change his vest, as he was on the changing mat he started to choke again- very badly this time so I quickly turned him over and he - thankfully - threw up. This has made me more wary of Heinz products and I think I will look at other products instead.
