Might be one to miss when weaning

Well I have just nicely started weaning my son, I decided to try and make his meal times more interesting an add a wee bit of fish into his diet. I selected Heinz creamy fish mornay which is cheesy vegetables with fish. I wasn't quite sure of this combination but hey I'll give a try. Beside I bought it with other Heniz jars and as there on promotion at Morrisons.

When I came to open the jar a sealed had formed on the top of the jar. I double checked the date and it was in date so I warmed it for my son in his bowl in the microwave I know that not really recommend as you can get hot spots but I always stir well and check it first. It was thicker than other jars at this stage too. When testing the warmth of the food I took a mouthful and nearly threw up it tasted gross. But its baby food so its not meant for me maybe my son will like it. Well no he didn't on the first mouthful he almost choked and spat it out everywhere. Having tasted it myself it wasn't going to try and force feed my poor son this gross fish combo.

I have to say I contacted Heinz about this product and my disappointment and they were good enough to send me a refund of £3 which I thought was excellent costumer service from Heinz
