Advantages: nice shape, easily dissolve

Disadvantages: slightly expensive if not on offer

Heinz organic biscotti biscuits come in a 60g packet which contains 6 biscuits. each biscuit is about 3" long and a greta shape for little tiny hands to grab making it an ideal first finger food. the packets are approximately 85p a pack, but often there is deals of for 3 for £1.50. they come in a foil pack, but once opened need to be stored in an airtight container.

They are advised to be used from 6mths mixed with milk or from 9mths as a finger food, but my daughter loved these as a finger food from 6mths, as they dissolve quite easily in the mouth so are suitable for babies even without teeth.

The biscuits have no articficial preservatives, no artificial flavours or colours, no added salt, suitable for vegetatarians, egg free, GM free.

Nutritional information per 100g: 419 kcal, fat 8.5g

They also do a chocolate version which are so lovely (even i love them) but are very messy.

Summary: a great first finger food
