Advantages: Organic, good quality, smells, tastes & looks good, baby likes it

Disadvantages: expensive and some can stain clothing

I started weaning my baby on "just add water" packet mixes which he loves, (I have never given him anything that I've made myself as I just don't have the time or the space to do it.) but I started to feel guilty that I had never given him any "real food" so I tried the HIPP organic range as the food in the jar actually looked nice & it sounded healthy and being organic I felt like I was giving him something really good. I had tried some Sainsbury's & Heinz jars and tins, but the food looked horribly processed, an off-putting colour and my baby wasn't very keen on them. The HIPP food was different, as well as looking tasty and smelling nice (some other jars/tins smell awful!) when I tasted a bit - I actually found that the food was tasty and I could eat it. I've definitely thought that other jars taste so awful I felt that I wouldn't eat it, so why give it to my poor baby! The sweetcorn & carrot is heavenly!
These jars go down a treat, he eats them all up and seems to really enjoy the flavour, plus I feel like I'm giving him "real food" as well as something healthy.
Unfortunately the cost is a little high at 59p a jar - but it's definitely worth that bit extra as the quality is really good compared to some of the other jars & tins. The only problem that I've had is that some of the foods can stain the baby's clothes, I now take off his T-shirt before feeding as well as using a bib - but I still have some body-suits with orange stains on them! The carrot and the penne pasta with tomato & courgette (his favourite) seem to be the worst offenders, but other than that I would recommend HIPP jars highly

They are great, also Boots own range is very good too, infact I feed Jack both Boots and Hipp, you are right they do taste like what they claim to be. I wish I knew the answer to the orange clothes, someone must know what to do !

Little treasure wolfed down these jars. Have you tried the range by Organix?
