Disadvantages: bit pricey for everyday use

I first tried hipp organic via a free sample in a bounty pack. This one was a first stage jar so totally smooth and easy for baby to swallow, sweet potato flavour. My daughter loved it and now she has progressed to lumpy food I have moved onto stages 2 and 3. I dont feed her jars all the time as I prefer to give her home cooked food that i have prepared myself, but these jars are excellent as a standby if you are having something a little too spicy for your little darling or are out and about as they are convenient. The amounts in the jars vary according to which stage baby is at, obviously older babies need that little bit more food. They smell great, and taste great too, my only downside is every jar whatever the flavour is the food is always of an orangey colour, a bit off putting but on the whole they are excellent and the fruit puree pots are a brilliant way of getting fruit into their diet. They are an excellent way of discovering what foods your baby does and does not like without costing a fortune and hours of cooking only to be disappointed that baby doesn't like it, just put the contents in a dish, microwave and off you go!
