I have been weaning my daughter for just over 2 months now and as she has started eating more I began introducing desserts to her. I discovered early on that she loved banana so whenever I saw a banana based dessert I tended to buy it for her. I always buy 10 jars for £5 this offer is on in Tesco and Asda. Separately these desserts cost 65p.

A jar contains 125g of the custard. All Hipp jars contain organic produce.

The custard itself is better serve warm, when it is cold it tends to be a little thick for my daughters liking. I normally spoon out half of th jar and put the rest in the fridge where you can keep it for 48 hours. If you feed your baby directly out of the jar you need to throw away any unused food. To heat up the custard you can either stand it in a bowl of warm water or use the microwave taking care not to overheat and stirring well to avoid any hotspots.

My daughter loves this, I have tasted it too and it is really creamy and smooth. The jar is for stage one weaning which is for ages 4 months and over. Now my daughter is older and eating lumpier food I actually warm this up and pour over small pieces of banana which she loves.

I would give this 5 out of 5, we love Hipp jars and this is another of our favourites!
