“ Brand: Hipp / Age: 12 months „
Excellent as a tasty treat for your toddler, as I have found with my baby boy. I usually feed him Hipp Creamy Rice Pudding with Apple, in between his main meals and it keeps him satisfied till his next meal.
There are soft pieces of apple in the rice pudding and the consistency of the meal is great for babies. I have tried Ambrosia Rice puds and my son takes a long time to fully digest it. While I appreciate that Ambrosia is not specifically made for babies, I thought I would save a bob or two by switching. No deal..my honey knows what he prefers.
Hipp Organic Creamy Rice Pudding with Apple is Stage 3 and is mainly for babies from 10 months onwards, as it contains pieces of fruit. The bottle is different to the other Hipp food jars in that it is shorter and wider. Athough its recommended as a dessert and rice puddings are generally known as a dessert, I find that it is too heavy for my baby after his main meal as most of it is gets wasted, thus I feed it to him as a treat.
This pud does not come cheap at £1.05 a jar, but is worth it when you know that your baby has enjoyed it and is left happy and content. All Hipp products are certified organic, so I am reassured by the fact that he is not consuming any old rice pudding but one that is specially designed for babies to digest easily and made with ingredients that are free from pesticides.
Overall, I am happy with the product and recommend it, minus one star for the high price!
