My son however wont eat more than two thirds of this at a time - normally he eats the whole jar - so i do wonder if he finds it quite a filling meal compared to the other options. Also worth noting is that it does contain salt in the stock - im sure it is all allowed but if you are watching your babys diet you may not want to use this too frequently though that is just my opinion. The texture is quite thick compared to some of the jars and it does stain so make sure you use old bibs that day!...more

This was one of the first tastes my son had of meat. I believe in making my own but until i was organised and has sussed out how to steam my own beef and make up my own hotpot version this was a good way of providing him with the much needed iron.
