Fantastic Formula! (Milupa Aptamil First Infant Milk)

Advantages: Easy to use, does not cause constipation

Disadvantages: More expensive than some other brands

Having not been able to breastfeed, I decided to try this milk powder on a recommendation from a friend.

Although it is more expensive than some other brands on the market (at about £8 a tub - except the Co-Op where it is around £8.50!) it is definetly worth it. I have been told by other friends that their babies suffered with constipation, with Aptamil we have never had this problem.

The powder is extremely easy to use and you get a fresh scoop in every box. Each scoop is equivilent to 1 oz of milk so it is very easy to know how much to use (although I do sometimes get confused with how many I have put in during the night feeds when I am half asleep!!).

At the moment my little one is on 5 oz around every 4 hours and a box lasts approximately 1 week.

I would certainly recommend this milk to anyone who cannot breast feed.
