For a toddler, the stretch between lunch and dinner can seem like a long time, so I wanted to give my little boy a snack which would fill him up just that bit longer. He has always been a big lover of finger foods, so I looked around for some salt free snacks for him to try. He first tried them at 13 months, and he loved them straight away. They are great for popping in my bag if we are off out somewhere, as I know it will keep him quiet if a tantrum starts!

You can buy them in single packs for 59p, or a multipack of 4 bags for £1.59, which is great value.

My little boy usually eats about half a pack at a time, and he really enjoys them. They have quite a bland flavour, which is perfect for little ones who aren't used to strong tastes yet! They melt in the mouth which is useful when your toddler doesn't have many teeth!

There are lots of different varieties of snacks in the goodies range, all in varying prices too, although these carrot ones have always been the favourite in our house!

The only downside to them is the mess my son makes when he eats them! The carrot flavouring seems to come off really easily and ends up in his hair and all over the highchair, and his clothes!
