Advantages: low salt and high in taste

Disadvantages: pricey

I don't like giving my boys crisps because of the huge amount of salt in each packet so when I do I always opt for these Organix variety. They have a 'no junk' policy which means that everything in the packet is not only made from Organic produce but there are no added 'nasties' and you can be confident that you are giving your child the best of the best.

These crisps come in a variety of flavours but in my opinion this particularly one is the best. They come in individual packs that cost around 40p each and they can be found alongside the baby food.

The crisps are made from corn and have less than 1% salt. They also contain various spices like paprika, chilli and garlic and they are shaped in the form of little stars but have a circular hole in the middle.

The great thing about these crisps is the fact they aren't bland like most of the baby food on the market. I don't know about you but I like my boys to experience lots of new flavours and tastes so they have a large pallet and aren't put off by strong flavours. These crisps have a little bit of a kick to them and you can actually taste all of the flavours without it being too hot.

Noah loves these crisps and I have yet to try them on Elijah as they are only recommended for children aged 12 months and above. They are both used to rather strong flavours and Noah tucks into these and finishes them before I can blink whilst stating 'Noah like these!'. That's definitely a good sign of how much he enjoys them.

The crisps are the 'melt in the mouth' variety so there is a very slim chance that a child would choke on them. They are just the right size to hold in a little hand too and sometimes Noah enjoys them in between a sandwich.

I would highly recommend these crisps but if you don't think then your child can handle the taste then why not try the cheese and herb curly puffs or crunchy carrot sticks that are also in the Organix range.

Summary: A great introduction to spicer foods.

These sound good, I always think it's a good idea to get the kids used to flavour instead of blandness.
