      a great tasting smooth puree

Having used Cow and Gate baby milk from the start with my daughter naturally when weaning her I started with their puree range. One day whilst shopping I noticed the Plum baby range, and that they had a number of flavours including the Blueberry Banana and Vanilla pouch. I brought a couple of the 100g pouches for £1.09 each from a local shop they are widely available from supermarkets and chemists.

I was attracted initially by the flavour as it would be something different for her to try, and as far as I am aware there is no blueberry puree in the Cow and Gate range. Upon further inspection I was impressed by the fact they are made from 100% superfoods and are organic. This puree is stage 1 weaning and is suitable from 4-6 months.

The puree comes in a squeezable pouch and is very smooth and is quite easy for my daughter to eat, even though she started weaning at 4months she managed this with ease. It is a deep purple colour and smells lovely, so much so i had to dip my finger in for a taste and I have to say it is lovely.

My daughter absolutely loved this and could not get enough. She was most disapointed to finish her dinner and kept trying to kick me for more. Bless her.

We have brought this puree time and again and it is a firm favourite of hers. We have also tried the banana apricot porridge and the strawberry and banana and these are great also.

Little miss would highly recommend as would I even though they are more expensive than the Cow and Gate puree jars where you get 125g for around 70p and these are around£1-£1.10 for 100g.

Too sweet for a baby, but great value with 2 pots in a pck

When I first started weaning my daughter, I was given high ratings of Plum products, even given a link to their website which tells you all about how healthy and good for your child their products are. It all sounded great to me, so I went out and bought the blueberyy, banana and vanilla dessert.
I thought it was good value for money, as there were two pots in the pack, and they are quite large pots too.
When I opened it, I was overwhelmed at how strong it smelt - the blueberry and vanilla in particular where very strong! Its a lovely colour - a really deep purple, so I made sure a bib was put on!!
My daughter wolfed down this pot, and I thought, as it seemed so good I would have a taste!
I could not believe how sweet it was! It was way too overly sweet for a baby
