Advantages: good flavours and naturally sweetened

Disadvantages: big pots, potential for waste

When my daughter was about six months old and id started weaning I began to look around for a suitable yoghurt to give her. I spent some time looking at the different brands specifically marketed to give to babies and came across these yoghurts. Most people had recommended the old faithfulls like petit filous or little stars but when I looked at the nutritional value section it was evident that they were quite sugary little devils and had over 10% sugar in them, added sugar at that. The Rachel's youghurts appealed to me as they do not have any added sugar in them and they gain their sweetness form the addition of fruit juice which seems much better to me. They are also below 10% in their sugar content. The yoghurts come in a pack of four and each has a different flavour including interesting ones like mango and banana. They are deliciously creamy with no pieces in them and my daughter loves them. they cost around £1.50 for four so not too bad money wise but the only thing is considering they are marketed for babies the pots are really big, my baby could never finish one, so there is the potential for a fair bit of waste unless you do a hoovering up act !!!!!!. In summary these yoghurts are great and I would heartily recommend them, my whole family like to eat them.
