I used sma with my first child three years ago after unsucessful breast feeding and i found it great. I started of on Farleys but I found it sometimes didn't mix properly. When I became pregnant again I decided to use sma again but I was amazed at the new range of sachets which you just add to an eight ounce bottle and go. I was delighted no more counting scoops which is a great advantage if your tired and loose count and have to start again. They also have the ready made milk which you just pour into the sterilised bottles but this is to expensive for everyday use. The packets of pre weighed sachets are more expensive than the tin so aren't practical if you are on a tight budget but they are a brilliant time saver which is essential in the early days. They come in two ranges
four ounce sachets of gold cap and eight ounce sachets of white cap. A bit of a pain if your child is taking six ounce feeds but nonetheless a great idea and I take my hat of to the makers of sma.they are priced at £3.95 for sixteen eight ounce measures of white cap and the same for twenty four four ounce measures of gold cap.
