Advantages: holds nutrition and valuable vitamins

Disadvantages: none

My son was always a funny feeder when he was younger and I struggled to get any food down him so I was glad when he was 1 and could have normal cows milk.

I suffered with so many problems with him when he was this age being ill all the time he would still take his milk bottles but I struggled to get any food down him.

At a loss of what to do and due to him being my first child I was going to take him to my health visitor. That day I popped into lloyds chemest and spoke to the pharmasist first and she advised me to get him a milk that would hold everything that his body needs so if he wasn't taking the milk he was still taking in what his body required and filling him up, she also advised that if the problem persisted then to consult my doctor.

I had a browse around the shop and saw this one at £6.59 a tin this was 4 years ago the price has gone up a little now just over £7. It holds valuable Iron and nutrition that your child needs which is great and it is to be mixed in the same way that the younger powder formula milk is to be used.

This age group is from 6 months to 24 months so my son was ok to drink this. I found after 3 days of having this milk when he was ill it had helped him pick up and would want something to eat again. I must admit that I wasted alot of this milk because if it is not used in 28 days it has to be disgarded and I never used the whole tin in this time. I later found that it is available in smaller tins.

If you are not ready to move your child onto cows milk and are worried about how much vitamins and iron your child is taking in then I would advise to invest in this. It is a good way of ensuring that your child gets what it needs and this will help with their development.

It explains how the formula is to be mixed and everything that it holds inside the tin so it is easy to understand.

Summary: the best follow on milk for your child
