Calpol Digital Ear Thermometer ... this product A thermometer is an essential in any household with babies and children in my opinion as when their unwell one of the first things you check is their temperature. You then also tend to keep an eye on it in case of horrid things like febrile convulsions. I bought this thermometer prior to my son being born. I selected a digital ear thermometer as I felt comfortable using ear thermometers having used them at work previously as a nurse. I also felt that these are one of the most accurate ways of quickly taking a temperature. Calpol Sugar Free Infant Suspension 2+ months ... three young children with lots of illnesses and many injections to have, I have gone through many bottles of Calpol over the last 5 years. I don t always give my children Calpol because I will often take them to the doctors and get them paracetemol on prescription, some doctors are generous and will prescribe you a big bottle which will last ages where as other doctors only give you enough medicine to see out the illness. I don t really see why you shouldn t be able to get paracetemol for your child whenever they are poorly, especially when it is so expensive to buy. Nurofen For Children Strawberry ... I visited my GP recently with my daughter I was suprised that he recommended giving her both calpol / paracetamol as well as nurofen for a chest infection. Calpol is something thats been in the medicine cabinet since my daughter was a few months old and whilst my GP was happy for me to continue with this he thought that she needed the extra nurofen / ibuprofen to kick this nasty infection. On my stop at the chemist on the way home I saw that it could be bought in both orange and strawberry flavours and in both 100mland 200ml bottles. I opted for the strawberry as I knew she would happily take the calpol which was strawberry flavoured and I opted for the smaller bot...
