Woodwards Gripe Water ... find Woodward s Gripe Water very effective. My baby used to struggle to get his wind up after a feed, he would become very grumpy and start crying and arching his back. I remembered when my daughter was a baby I used the gripe water then, so I bought some to try. I found it very effective as it helped him to bring his wind up almost immediately, with a great big burp. I continued to use this for a while but he no longer has any trouble bringing up his wind. I found that the gripe water was better than other products designed to ease wind. Tommee Tippee Gummy Teether ... bought a pack of Tommee Tippee gummy teethers from Lloyds Chemist when my son was around 6 months old. He was going through a particularly bad time with his teething at that point and the product caught my eye. Previously I d relied on Bonjela teething gel, applied on the finger- this was backed up with Calpol or Aston & Parsons herbal teething powder on really bad days. He also tried Bickiepegs but didn t take to those at all. The gummy teethers looked new and different and at £4.99 for a pack of 2 worth trying out. Gummy teethers look a bit like dummies. Calpol Sugar Free Infant Suspension 2+ months ... parent must agree with me, Calpol works wonders!! It can be used for any type of pain from teething right through to cold and flu aches and pains, This particular bottle is suitable for babies aged 2 months plus so anyone can feel confident when giving it to a young baby. I usually buy this from Asda or Tesco and it is priced around £2.00 to £3.00 for a 100ml bottle. This medicine can be used until 6 years of age so if you are lucky and have a child that doesn t feel ill too often then it will last a long time. (providing you don t go past the expiry date).
