Avon Sun Kids Mulitvitamin Sun Cream SPF50
by sparkleychel == Avon Sun Kids SPF 50 Multivitamin Sun Cream == The sun is shining, the birds are tweeting and evenings are getting brighter , it can only mean one thing Summer is on the way . With this my children's school have requested that the children start bringing sun cream to school . So when the Avon book popped through the door ... seemed the perfect time to stock up . The R.R.P of the cream is supposedly £13 but like all Avon is always part of an offer or in the sale. I bought when they had a 3 for £10 offer last year and have just re-purchased with the same offer, so £3.33 each a bargain. ==The Cream == The cream comes in a 75 ml tube with flip lid that clips close. It's a white coloured cream and blends into the skin quickly , sometimes especially if applied in the sun , it disappears very quickly and you can only tell where you have applied it by the shine on the skin that sun creams leave. The cream works by absorbing or reflecting some of the sun's ultraviolet (UV) radiation on the skin when exposed to sunlight and this helps protect against sunburn. The S.P.F [ the sun protection factor ] is 50 , what this means is you can stay in the sun 50 times longer than you could without it , before burning. The cream contains Activi-D technology to help skin's vitamin D function. == In Use == I apply this to the children in the morning before school and they each take one to school in their bags . Both tubes lasted last summer being bashed around in the bags and the lids still worked perfectly . Both children had no problems using the tube , you only need a light squeeze for the cream to dispense. Neither have had any problems or reaction to the cream . My son does have sensitive skin and using the cream hasn't hurt him in any way. We use this in the garden and at the beach ,I do apply it again after swimming as although the cream is water resistant, I do think its better to be safe than sorry. The tube is a great size for your bag , and with the high protection factor it's suitable for everyone not just the children. We used the 3 tubes over the last year , even though my children have olive skin that tans very easily I am quite slap happy with the sun cream. I have also used the cream , I am not lucky enough to have olive skin , I think my skin colour is know as milk bottle white ,and I would usually burn within 15 minutes of being in the sun but i found the cream very effective and certainly stopped any sunburn . == Thoughts == A great priced sun cream that offers great protection . So good I bought it again , highly recommended . Read the complete review |

Avon Sun Kids Mulitvitamin Sun Cream SPF50
by sarahrichmond5 I used this sun cream last year when I and my family were holidaying in Scotland. I had previously used more expensive and well known brands such as Nivea and thought I would give Avon a try. At the time I bought the cream they were on offer if you bought 3 bottles so they worked out at a really good price. ... I would definitely recommend waiting until they are on offer as it saved me a lot of money. I chose to get the highest factor possible so that the children had the best possible protection which was 50SPF. It is available in other spf too though. The cream comes in a tube and when I used it I found that a little went a long way. The cream is very thick which makes it really easy to apply and you can see quickly where it has been applied unlike some of the thinner or spray lotions. The smell is nice the one we bought smelt like bubblegum which the kids really liked. I accidently spilt some of the cream on my dress when applying it to my daughter and assumed it would be a nightmare to get out but it was no problem at all it came out the first time I washed it. We went on a beach on the Isle of Skye whilst we were away and the kids were playing in the sand but this did not seem to make the cream rub off or affect its performance it still worked well I reapplied the cream about every 2 hours and found that this was enough, even when they were getting in and out of the water it still kept them very well protected and neither of them burnt. The cream has the same protection as some of the more expensive brands and protects against UVA and UVB rays in addition to being water resistant. In summary i would say that avon sun cream is a good reasonably priced sun cream Read the complete review |

Avon Bronze Kids' Waterproof Sun Lotion SPF 50
by emmad5689 Having previously used an Avon suncream for my children and being happy with it when it came to getting sun cream for our holiday last September I turned to Avon again. We were only holidaying in Skegness however I am very strict on sun protection as I feel for the children they don't have the choice to look after their own skin so I ... must do it for them and hope that when they are old enough to make their own choices I will have taught them the importance of sun cream. Obviously with this being an Avon product you can only buy it from Avon, you can order from their website but you will have to pay delivery or you can order from one of their representatives. The thing I find with Avon is that at some point everything will go on offer so if you can wait for an offer it is certainly worth waiting, this sun cream is meant to be £8 each however I paid £10 for 3 products from the range making it £3.33 each and thus over a 50% saving. The sun cream comes in a plastic tube which has a bright purple flip top lid on it which is actually at the bottom which makes it easier to get the last dregs of the product out. On the tube you are told that this is factor 50 which is the strength I always use on my children and that it is waterproof which is another thing I look for since weather permitting we like to take our children to the beach. Inside the tube the cream is white in colour and pretty thick in consistency although it still rubs in really well, I like the consistency of the product as it means it doesn't end up all over whilst you try and apply it. The lotion comes out of the tube easily with a little squeeze and then it is easy to rub into the skin and soaks in nicely without leaving it feeling greasy. The lotion has a slight fruity smell to it which I like and you can smell it on the skin for hours afterwards so it's good that it smells nice. I would rate this cream 5 stars out of 5 as this is the only products we used on our holidays and we did have some lovely weather but neither of my daughters even turned slightly pink let alone burned so I can happily say this is a fantastic product that does give maximum protection from the sun and I will be buying it again this year, when it goes on offer of course.
