Advantages: Easy to use, high protection, hypoallergenic

My 19 month old has a few allergies and has unfortunately reacted to a few suncreams we've used in the past with little spots all over where the cream has been applied. I noticed this hypoallergenic one at asda and it was on offer at £5 which is cheap for a lot of creams!

We've actually got factor 30 and the factor 50 and both are very moisturising and I haven't found any fault with them yet. It's white in colour and fragrance free so there aren't any colourants or fragrances that can irritate the skin. It has advanced UVA and UVB protection and it claims to be water and sand resistant. It is water resistant upto a point but we always reapply after being in water anyway but it's protected whilst we've been in there.

There are instructions on the back of it but they include staying out of the sun between the hours of 11 and 3. This is good advice but extremely hard to adhere to when you have an energetic 19 month old to amuse! The only thing it didn't give was an exact time to reapply - it just says reapply frequently.

Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially those with suncream allergies or sensitive skin. We've never been burnt whilst wearing this and there have been no side effects. It rubs in neatly without leaving you sticky or big white patches and my daughter loves getting it on.
