Teething is a problem at some stage or other with a majority of babies and, therefore, their parents. There are many things on the market to help out during this time but I would never again try anything but Anbesol.

When I was a first time Mum facing my child's teething problems (not that severe really) I desperatly needed something to help her. We tried all the chewing things suggested by friends and health visitors. Ok, these did the job. A Farleys rusk is great during the day to gnaw on (for the baby....not the parent) but during the night became a problem.

We tried the gels. We wore the gels!!!!!!! They went everywhere! All over my hand, arm and clothes and all over the baby's face and clothes. I could get it anywhere but on the gums. It just slid off the whole time and just didn't serve the purpose.

As a liquid Anbesol solves this. Just pop a bit on your finger and pop it on the childs gums. It is great. It stays there - well assuming you get it there, mine used to like the taste and suck it off my finger before we got to the gums!!! It is effective. A good nights sleep is had by all.

I swear by it. Never be without a bottle in the house.
