This has to be one of the best products on the market for mouth ulcers/baby teething/ gum soreness etc and anything to do with your mouth. Anbesol was recommended to me by a friend after I moaned about mouth ulcers (horrible I know but everyone gets them) and I was a little bit wary of using it as it looks more like a of poison than a onitment in ... Anbesol liquid was recommended to me by the nurse at my GP's surgery (I was actually there so my daughter could have her vaccinations, but happened to mention that she was waking up a lot in the night and I suspected this was down to teething pain). Like most parents, I'd tried pretty much everything: teething rings, Bonjela, giving ... Read the complete review

I think Anbesol is a great product for gums as I had a huge blister, I am currently using the product and it is working like a charm in just a day. It also has a reasonable price so I recommend buying it! It does contain alcohol which was a little worry for me, it does sting a tad bit, but it does help, so I guess it is worth it! Anbesol ... I'd like to start this review by stating that I had no sign of any ulcer on my tongue but I had really bad piles. I bought this product to rub on my rusty ring and was shocked to read 'ORAL USE ONLY'. I thought the wife was going to have to tongue it on! ! ! To my dismay I realised (after she's 'applied' it) that ... Read the complete review

This bottle is 6.5ml and cost me about £3.00 from Boots although I have bought it from several supermarkets with a pharmacy for around the same price. Its a primarily white and green carton with dark blue lettering stating Anbesol, inside is a glass bottle with a light brown coloured liquid inside. When you open it you get a distinct whiff of ... I must start by saying that I am a big Anbesol fan. After going through many different brands of teething gels, finally I was recommended a product that actually works !! My poor little boy was suffering badly with his sore gums, and it was a friend of mine that recommended I tried the Anbesol liquid. I rushed out to my local Boots store and ... Having really suffered with chronic tooth ache over the past few days, I needed to get some relief and I found this in the form of anbesol liquid. I went to my pharmacy and was given this little bottle of liquid, and to be perfectly honest I did not even think it would work, but I was willing to try anything as I could not get a dental ... Liquid Anbesol is another product on the market to ease the pain in teething babies, my friend recommended this product as she has been using it on her daughter ever since she started teething. You have to ask the chemist for it as it isnt stocked on the shelves, it is behind the counter and a small 6.5ml bottle cost me £2.99. The box ... Read the complete review

When my kids were teething I tried loads of different gels and powders in an attempt to relieve their pain and discomfort but I always went back to Anbesol as the most effective and easy to use. Anbesol contains something called lidocaine hydrochloride, which is a local anaesthetic and will numb the pain caused by teething, ulcers and ... Read the complete review

This product is a life saver. Before I go on, here's a brief summary... Tastes disgusting Numbs the pain That's about it really! It really is horrible tasting and best to rub into your gums as completely as possible to avoid getting it on your tongue. If you do, you might gag - ok maybe it isn't that bad but I am a wimp and ... Read the complete review

I am going to let you into a secret, I have not been to the dentist for 12 years. This is awful I know but I am so frightened of them hurting me, as I child I always loved to visit the dentist so I could get the stickers with a big smile on or the legendary lolly pops they gave out. My mother was always petrified of the dentist and had ... Read the complete review

The cheeks are rosy, the nappies are ugh, fingers are going into the mouth, and all sorts of hard objects are going into the mouth and do not forget the dribbles. Nothing seems to soothe your baby. TEETH ARE COMING!!!!!!!!! Some children sail through the onset of teeth while others have a terrible time of it. What can you do ... Read the complete review

This is definently one for parents to remember. I have used this religiously with both my children, and even myself. As a parent, I can sympathise with any parent or carer of a child in pain. Your heart goes out to them, and yet you feel there’s nothing you can do. Perhaps you’ve tried the walking up and down the room with them in ... Read the complete review

My son doesn't get a tooth, he gets 4 at once and boy do we know about it! First he starts with the dribbles and the gnawing. Then comes the screaming! This goes on at all hours and it is totally impossible to comfort him. I have tried all sorts in order to stop his pain. I found teething rings OK for when the pain was just niggling. I ... The "teethers and soothers" category may be slightly misleading for the opinion you are about to read. Actually, that's a vast understatement, as I have no intention of mentioning babies, teething or the like whatsoever. So what am I going to talk about then? Mouth ulcers. My baby started teething at 10 weeks, so I bought some calgel which is very good and was very effective, BUT now he is older he sucks the gel straight off my finger when I try to apply it and swallows it, so it has no effect at all. I went to Boots Pharmacist and was recommended liquid Anbesol, now I would never go back to any of the ... Read the complete review

I had used this in the past when I had mouth ulcers and found it to be brilliant. It did sting quite a bit but then it numbed the painful area so much I didn't mind that initial shock. The pain was mainly due to the open wound though. I tried this on a few occasions with my son who suffered quite a bit with his teeth and found that ... Read the complete review

I first encountered anbesol liquid after trying various other teething remedies, gels etc but nothing seemed to be as effective as anbesol. Teething is a problem at some stage or other with a majority of babies and, therefore, their parents. There are many things on the market to help out during this time but I would never again try anything but Anbesol. This stuff is like sight to the blind, absolutely unbelievable. It works so quickly and as it is in liquid form you can apply it straight to the relevant area without risk of baby sucking it off your finger in a blob. It does also come in gel form but liquid is far superior. Added advantages are that you can use it too when you get mouth ... Read the complete review
