Disadvantages: You need to open the sachets very carefully

Ashton & Parsons Infant's Powders - For Teething with a Smile. Well I've got to say for me that is true. This is what it says on the packaging for Ashton & Parsons. It is a small white box with blue writing on it. It states that it is "a herbal product" and it is used for the "symptomatic relief of the pain and stomach upset associated with teething". The powders themselves come in little white packets (they are folded up pieces of paper with the powder contained in the middle) There is not a lot of powder in one sachet so you do need to be careful when opening them so that you don't lose any. The dosage requirement is if baby is under six months then half a powder and if above six months one powder that is applied straight onto the tongue morning and night.
My daughter started cutting her teeth quite early and I was advised to try Ashton and Parsons. I looked everywhere for it but couldn't track it down so I persevered with Calpol. I began to think they didn't make it anymore! Then one time I was at Asda I thought on the off chance I would ask in the pharmacy there and lone behold they had it. The next time my daughter was a bit sore and restless with her teeth I gave her it and it was like magic, I would say within fifteen minutes she had calmed down and she wasn't as aggitated and chewing everything. I have used them with her since and we've had no problems, they are such a great thing to have and I panic when I run out because I know they help her! They are also reasonably priced at £2-£3 depending where you buy them.

Summary: Number 1 cure for teething
