Boots Nursery Thermometer

I live in a small flat that always seems to be very hot, even without any heating on, so when I was expecting my son I was really worried about getting the room temperature right for my new baby, especially with the guidelines for preventing cot death suggesting that the nursery temperature should be between 18-21C. I tried using the "feverscan" type of thermometer (like forehead thermometers) but I found these to be pretty useless, they stayed stuck at 24C so I still couldn't really tell what the room temperature was.
